It would be nice to be able to customize for a netbook. There are options in the View menu that might be helpful:

Browser on Top will move the artists and albums browsers to the top of
the main pane. This, combined with removing the Context Pane, will allow
you to compact the Banshee window considerably.

If this isn't what you have in mind, file a bug report as a "feature
request:"

 I understand that my library is empty. I got the screenshot from a VM and it is not my actual library.

I don't think you understood my idea as it is to streamline the design to make it more efficient as there is lots of blank space wasted.

Would a bug report as a feature request still be the best way forward?
