[Banshee-List] Following "Rescan Music Library" progress?

When I hit Tools/Rescan Music Library I get a short-lived progress bar 
in the bottom left of the screen. After a second or two it disappears / 
fades, even when the rescan isn't complete.

I'd like to follow the rescan progress...

If I do this 10-20 times, apparently at random sometimes the progress 
bar stays put, so I can see the progress until it is done.

Is there a way to keep the progress bar until it is done? How else can I 
know when the rescan is complete?
