[Banshee-List] ipod and daap server

This is a newb question and I'm probably just missing something really
obvious, but I'm hoping somebody can help out here. I have banshee
installed with the latest production ubuntu. It recognizes my ipod nano
(and older model). I have a daap server set up, and banshee can see that.
I can drag files from the daap server to the ipod, and they show up in the
song list when I click on the ipod. However, its obviously not copying the
files over because it happens too quick. After ejecting the ipod, the files
aren't there, and after reconnecting, they don't show up on the device.

So, is it possible to do this? Copy files from the daap to the ipod? I did
some googling and it seems like it might not be, but the user interface in
banshee seems to think this is fine. Is there some 'sync' button?

All files on the server are mp3. Maybe there's a different way to do this?
File share? Its just that the daap seems to work very nicely. I'd like to
stick with that if at all possible.

Thanks in advance,
-Kevin
