[Banshee-List] Automatically adding files to library.

Hi, im running banshee 1.4 on os x, so far im happy with it, its better than
itunes, and amarok 2 easily. Anyway, ive got a library of 100gb located on
an external hard drive, and add to it quite alot.
Ideally i would like to add files/directorys to the directory of my library,
and that would automatically import them into banshee. 
However as it is, i either rescan my library, which takes hours, or i import
them manually, neither are ideal...
any ideas? anything that could be implimented for the next release?
