Hi Eugenio,

Actually it's much easier for developers if all issues are filed as
separate bugs in http://bugzilla.gnome.org/. I suggest that you do it,
otherwise your suggestions will just be lost.

Some of the bugs you described already exist, I will provide links,
feel free to CC yourself to the bugs to be notified when they are
fixed.

You can also press '/' and filter your library.

You can hover the mouse pointer over the cover preview - a bigger
preview will pop up. See also

They are called 'smart playlists'. Search BGO, file a new bug if it
doesn't already exsist.

Same as above.

See http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=428849, it has a patch
that you could help testing.

Search BGO, file a new bug if it doesn't already exsist.

You can use --toggle-playing

Hope this helps.
