[Banshee-List] Use banshee tray icon to control volume

I used to be an Amarok user earlier and only recently started using
banshee...
When I have the mouse pointer on the tray icon and use the mouse scroll
wheel, currently, banshee plays either next or previous tracks. Is there any
way to change that behavior to control volume? This used to be the case in
Amarok and is same in Rhythmbox.
