[Banshee-List] Syncing with Samsung Moment (Android 1.5)

Hi,

I'm new to Banshee, having installed it on my Debian Slink system to
get music on my Samsung Moment (running Android 1.5).  Debian's
packaging system installed version 1.6 beta 2 (1.5.1) of Banshee.

What I've read suggests that Banshee will detect my phone in mass
storage mode if launched after the device shows up as "2.0 GB Media"
on my Gnome desktop.  The device shows, and I can copy files to it,
but Banshee isn't recognizing it.  Should it?  Any hints on how to get
Banshee to recognize my phone?

FWIW, the Extensions tab under Preferences says that Mass Storage
Media Player Support is enabled.
