I've added the banshee-unstable-team repository to my software sources,
authenticated it, but I can't seem to download an upgrade to 1.5.0. What am
I doing wrong? I'm on Ubuntu 8.10.
Looking at the build I can see that for 8.10 it failed for amd64, i486 and lpia so you didn't do anything wrong. There is simply something blocking the build

Based on that I would say the mono in intrepid is either to old or is broken.
Your best bet is probably to upgrade to something newer.
