There is a bug filed for creating a new Audiobooks library source:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=524921
I've actually started working on it (so far nothing too useful other
than a split-out "Audiobooks, etc" library source):
http://gitorious.org/projects/banshee/repos/mainline/logs/audiobooks_etc
Definitely feel free to branch that or master and keep working on it -
eg a custom view that would recognize books/lecture series as a single
unit or something, bookmarks, a rip helper for helping w/ the metadata
(which often isn't available from MB), etc.
Probably good to keep the discussion mostly on the above bug (and file
new ones as appropriate).
Thanks!
Gabriel
