Chill out, dude.  CC yourself on the bug so you can follow any
progress.  The mailing list is not the right place for the developer
to talk about this (that's what bugzilla is for).  Notice that there
has been plenty of discussion on the bug.  Also, it is targetted for
1.6, the next stable release, so hopefully a fix will come by then.

In case it's not super obvious, your attitude doesn't exactly
encourage people to want to help you out.
