I did make some search on forums about this, but the only topics I found were
full of codes and stuff that I'm still too amateur to understand. Maybe
there was a patch released for it already, so please if someone could
explain easier, I would appreciate.
Well, I liked a lot Banshee. I tested all players I could find till now, and
Banshee is on top of my list. One thing I missed on Rhythmbox, that was
"double click a song and listen to it, instead of adding to library and
don't play", Banshee has. Also, it searchs greatly (and update) my library
folder. However, I always edit manually the tags of my songs, and always set
all the info of them. Doing this way, all my songs have Genres that I did
set.
When I used Winamp (on my Windows pc) I was able to sort by library per
genre also, which means with a double-click over the genre's name, my whole
songs within that genre would play. This was simply awesome.
On Banshee users are not able to customize such a thing. There is just
Artist/Album, and can't change (as far I as know, tested).
So I was wondering If it's possible to do such a thing on it? Or any plans
to put it in future versions?
Thanks for attention.
