I'd also point out, as Wade touched on, that the differences in numbers
between Rhythmbox and Banshee undeniably have to do with Rhythmbox being
installed /by default/ in Ubuntu, and Banshee is available only in
Universe, so a user has to a) know what Banshee is, and b) manually
install it.

IMHO, using these numbers is not fair for any sort of popularity
comparison unless both applications where installed by default and
tracking began at the same point in time.
