Figured it would be best to discuss this over the mailing list before I opened an enhancement bug, just to get some input on it.
What do you think about having two types of library rescans? A "full" rescan that would drop the table in the SQLite db that has all the file paths and such in it and completely rebuilds that with the directory (ies) the user supplies and a quick rescan, which just scans for new music?
Just for curiosity, do you think the current scanning method is "full" or "quick"?
