[Banshee-List] Bug 527788 "Could not fetch metadata for CD"

Hello,
after many many hours and tries I finally succeeded in building
banshee-1 1.2.1, but unfortunately I still don't get metadata.
Bug 527788 was targeted for this version, I think, and I was hoping that
I would finally get a useful banshee. But again no luck. Still I get for
every CD the error: "Could not fetch metadata for CD".
Of all the things that didn't and dont work in 10.3 banshee is surely
the most frustrating one.
I've seen only a few people complain about this, so maybe the maintainers
don't consider this an important problem.
So please if somebody has a patch or knows how to patch this, let me know.
I'm getting desperate.
