[Banshee-List] Downloader?

What happened to the iTunes plugin? Compatibility problems? Lack of
interest? I ask because an MP3 downloader for Linux doesn't seem to be a
high priority for Amazon right now and the idea of using Mono/Banshee
seems interesting. Don't know what Amazon would be willing to share but it
would be a nice feature to have.
