[Banshee-List] No package 'sqlite3' found

I'm trying to build Banshee from the svn head but the configure script
is telling me I'm missing "sqlite3". I have sqlite 3.4  installed, the
files include

/usr/bin/sqlite3
/usr/lib/sqlite3.so.0
/usr/lib/sqlite3.so.0.8.6

Is something missing? Do I need to edit the script in order to point it
to this?
