I've reported this bug (at least I think it's the same issue) at
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=410498 . I wrote a quick
patch that fixes it, along with an explanation of the cause. I'm pretty
sure the patch probably isn't doing the Right Thing[tm], but it's a
start. :)
(Hunting down that bug took a disproportionate amount of time
considering the fix is two lines!)
