Have you tried a full uninstall and re-install of banshee? I noticed a
reference to the Beagle Plugin. I haven't heard about that in several
versions which suggests there might be some old cruft laying around in
your install (that or in the plugins code). Not sure why moving the
Podcast plugin would help, but it sure couldn't hurt to give yourself
a fresh and clean install of Banshee. After uninstall, be sure to
check for lingering items that may have come in versions past. You
might also want to move your banshee db in
~/.gnome2/banshee/banshee.db to something else to take that out of the
equation.
