[Banshee-List] cant transcode (or synchronize to ipod)

I cant seem to drop songs onto the IPod without the program hanging on the transcoder.  With the 0.10 release I was able to drop in mp3s. I upgraded to 0.11 and now I cant seem to drop in mp3s or oggs.  The output always shows:
