Well, I can get Banshee to open and play .m4a files, but when I try to
import it doesn't happen and this gets printed to the console:
Cannot Import: Some Song.m4a
(Entagged.Audioformats.Exceptions.UnsupportedFormatException)

I believe you need the gstreamer-faad package installed.
