[Banshee-List] trouble with ./configure for 0.11.2 plugins

i'm currently trying to compile the plugins for my fresh 0.11.2 copy.

i got banshee installed and running fine, but i'm getting this error 
when i run ./configure on the plugins source :

configure: error: Package requirements (banshee >= 0.11.0) were not met

... i swear it's installed and running and in my PATH. i have no idea 
what's wrong. i had no previous version of banshee installed on this 
machine.

help!
