First of all thanks a ton for replying.
But there are some points I am not able to understand.
(i) Fetching album art from Internet - why do we
expect that every album under the sky would be present
in amazon or wikipedia or last.fm or musicbrainz?
These should be the last resorts.
(ii) why dont just search the:
ID3 Tag for Embedded images first?
if not found then File system for cover art
still not found then, go to any website?
(iii) Isnt embedded cover arts cool?
I think the library mentioned by - Brian
Nickel(http://mail.gnome.org/archives/banshee-list/2006-August/msg00084.html)
would help in coding a better cover art functionality.
Here is what the current code is doing:
cover_art_file = track.CoverArtFileName;
And the cover art is not at all loaded from track's
tag.
I dont know C# to code..so I am looking forward to
someone releasing a better Tag handling.
Ipod-sharp does track tags syncing..thats coool
thanks to all!
