I have been testing the patch against the 0.9.13 release, and have to
say it looks very good.

I have a few minor things to note:

1. With a 4k library, there are responsiveness issues, which can be
pretty easily fixed.

2. I seem to have a lot of music with artist name variations:

Mighty Mighty Bosstones
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Mighty Mighty BossTones

Therefore, I think if an artist starts with "The" it should be ignored,
and case should not matter. All three of those above variations should
be same thing. 

Other than that, the only changes I'd make are minor UI tweaks.

That said, this does not work at all on the 0.10 release. Would you mind
updating the patch one last time against 0.10? Also please make the
patch from the top of the tree, not from src/.

If you can post a 0.10 version by Thursday, this should get in for next
Thursday's release, so we can start maintaining it there.
