Neither

When I do a ldd on the binary, I get:
ldd src/balsa | grep gtk
	libwebkitgtk-3.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libwebkitgtk-3.0.so.0
(0x00007ffb22303000)
	libgtk-3.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgtk-3.0.so.0 (0x00007ffb21cd0000)
	libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 (0x00007ffb20b5

Building with the latest Rawhide packages, I get
[peter@t43 balsa]$ ldd src/balsa | grep gtk
	libwebkitgtk-3.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libwebkitgtk-3.0.so.0 (0x48670000)
	libgtksourceview-3.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgtksourceview-3.0.so.0 (0x4450c000)
	libcanberra-gtk3.so.0 => /usr/lib/libcanberra-gtk3.so.0 (0x444ff000)
	libgtk-3.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgtk-3.0.so.0 (0x44a64000)
[peter@t43 balsa]$ rpm -q -f /usr/lib/libgtk-3.0.so.0
gtk3-2.99.2-1.fc15.i686

So apparently the -x11 lib has been folded into libgtk in the latest package--I guess? Not sure how to configure to avoid the issue you're seeing :(

Best,

Peter
