Neither
When I do a ldd on the binary, I get:
ldd src/balsa | grep gtk
libwebkitgtk-3.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libwebkitgtk-3.0.so.0
(0x00007ffb22303000)
libgtk-3.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgtk-3.0.so.0 (0x00007ffb21cd0000)
libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 (0x00007ffb20b5
If I look who owns libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0:
locate -S libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0
libgtk2.0-0: /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.2390.0
libgtk2.0-0: /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0
ia32-libs-gtk: /usr/lib32/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.2000.1
ia32-libs-gtk: /usr/lib32/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0
So It seems that this lib is the culprit.
But this lib exists also in libgtk3.0-0 package...
