Hi All!Balsa has for some time included experimental code for using WebKit to render HTML message parts, instead of GtkHTML-2 or -3. Recent versions of WebKit (1.1.10+) have been causing hangs, which are fixed in git master, but instead don't render anything. I've recently found some spam that crashes earlier versions. So as of now we have no reliable way of using WebKit in Balsa.
The rendering problem with recent WebKit does not seem to be a WebKit bug--a simple test program uses it successfully. We'd welcome any insights into why it doesn't work in Balsa!
