1. I have Mailboxes _sorted_ _by_ _date_ with _Simple_ _threading_. When I open a box I see messages unsorted with random threading. If I choose "Simple threading" again by shortcut, it manages to sort messages properly. Is there a way to fix it?
Could you try the attached patch? I believe we've been failing to notice that the mailbox was resorted.
This patch didn't do the job. I couldn't find any difference in behavior.
OK--here's another shot. There was a bug in reloading a mailbox with "Simple threading", which left it unthreaded; it's (hopefully) fixed in svn. Please give it a try.

It works. Thank you very much.

Well,
getting back to this issue. Now it works _mostly_, and better then before. But still messages, that came _after_ I last time re-threaded a mailbox, are left unthreaded in the bottom of the box. This is not bad - it helps to find new messages in a big mailing list.

Suggestion: what would you say to make it in "GMail-ish" way? I.e. threads, that contain newer messages put to the top (or bottom, regarding sorting rules). That is, sorting threads by date would be not the date of _initial_ message, but the _last_ message, that belongs to the thread.
