I have removed the whole .balsa.
As I have a half-failing disk, I've rebuilt a new system waiting for
service for
the disk. The system - as the other one - is on Debian/sid.
I have moved the spool on this systm to see, I've the same problem.
I have removed the spool and waited fetchmail to collect some mail,
only
few
mails are displayed.
This happens even with the version of balsa shipped with sid:
2.3.21-1+b1
When this version stops, the process stay running, a trace gives:

I suspect an update of a library. thereafter a log of the updates from
