For the record, balsa inquires:

6 FETCH 12 (BODYSTRUCTURE BODY.PEEK[HEADER.FIELDS.NOT (DATE SUBJECT FROM  
SENDER REPLY-TO TO CC BCC IN-REPLY-TO MESSAGE-ID)])

Which means, please send the structure of the message number 12, followed  
by all the headers that are not date, subject, etc. Lotus responds with a  
some response for BODYSTRUCTURE, and issues the header for response of  
BODY.PEEK but never delivers the literal containing the response itself  
and breaks the connection instead (does it segfault? Does it log  
anything?)
