Folder structures appearing twice in tree view

Hi,
after updating balsa to 2.3.13-1 (Debian/Sid) yesterday, I found that  
in one particular mail folder all entries (including subfolders) appear  
twice (see attached screenshot). Rescanning helped to remove the double  
entries from the tree view -- but after booting up the computer today  
and starting balsa, the same folder had all mboxes/dirs twice in it  
again.

Any idea what could be behind this?
