Balsa 2.3.0: Takes long time to display some mails

Hello,

some mails take ages to display (both in preview and properly) in  balsa
2.3.0. I don't know why this is, but it appears to me that plain-text mails
are ok, but those with http://www... - links are affected. Is this possible?

Also, it looks that the most recent gpg-stuff is required to make crypto
work. Semi-up-to-date versions apparently won't do. Maybe a check in
configure would be in order.
