Hi,
I tried to clean up my (rather large) incoming mbox file using balsa
(CVS ChangeLog rev. 1.2005). The inbox is configured to erase deleted
messages immediately. After erasing several messages, balsa hung with
zero cpu load.
I attached gdb to it, which said
<gdb>
Program received signal SIGINT, Interrupt.

</gdb>
Killed the process, and now the mbox file is partly destroyed: the
beginning is still intact, approximately at the point where I tried to
erase the last message, ALL mails of a ~ three month period (!!!) are
gone, and at the end about 5 new ones are still there.
ARRRRGH!!!!!!
Although I was able to restore some parts of that file from a backup,
more that three weeks of mostly very personal messages are lost. I think
I don't need to say that this behaviour is *completely* inacceptable.
Any ideas?
Cheers, Albrecht.
