Hi,
this is *really* OT, but the balsa list processor violates rfc3156 when
distributing signed messages...
Such messages have the mime type multipart/signed, which according to
rfc3156, section 5, MUST consist of exactly two parts. The list processor,
though, appends stuff like
: --TheMimeSeparator--
: _______________________________________________
: balsa-list mailing list
: balsa-list@gnome.org
: http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/balsa-list
The resulting message has a (forbidden) third part without any mime info.
In this situation, the right way would be (as the GnuPG mailing list does)
to create a message like
multipart/mixed
multipart/signed
(whatever the signed stuff is) <--- original message contents
application/pgp-signature <--- original message signature
text/plain <--- the balsa list info trailer
Sorry for the noise, just my ¤ 0.01...
Cheers, Albrecht.
