Hi,
when trying to build head against the latest (?) gmime 2.1.3, compilation
fails for libbalsa/imap/auth-cram.c:
auth-cram.c:29:30: gmime/md5-utils.h: No such file or directory
auth-cram.c: In function `hmac_md5':
auth-cram.c:135: `MD5Context' undeclared (first use in this function)
auth-cram.c:135: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
auth-cram.c:135: for each function it appears in.)
auth-cram.c:135: parse error before "ctx"
cc1: warnings being treated as errors
auth-cram.c:148: warning: implicit declaration of function `md5_init'
auth-cram.c:148: `ctx' undeclared (first use in this function)
auth-cram.c:149: warning: implicit declaration of function `md5_update'
auth-cram.c:150: warning: implicit declaration of function `md5_final'
Apparently the md5 stuff has been moved to a differnt folder in gmime
(utils) which is not installed globally any more. What do you think about
using OpenSSL or (even better, IMHO!) libgcrypt (available on the gnupg
site in the "alpha" section") instead for calculation md5 sums?
Cheers, Albrecht.
