Size of the balsa icons

Hi!
I would like to ask whether it is possible to change
the size of the balsa (version 2.0.X) icons in the
toolbar.
The icons are really nice but in my opinion too big :-)
I can not find a proper option, just to switch off
icons and to leave only text.
