by my previsions gnome2 won't happen for most people before summer so i
myself wasn't in a big rush :)
someone asked --enable-gnome2 - imho it's possible but i'm not sure if it's
a good idea cause it means having a lot of ifdef stuff for a short period of
time. maybe a branch would be better, even if it means a bit of work merging
it. pawel ?

nod. the new list/table stuff means running the code through a fairly smart
s///g :) but it's not pressing as CTable/CList will be retained in
deprecated mode.
Afaik GtkEntry is going away fast and we need to take a large hammer to
address-entry. unfortunatly that particular bit of code just makes me scream
everytime i look at it :) with some luck the gtk2 way of text entry permits
for an address-entry class much less intrusive. sigh
