Yes, I noticed this
but I wanted to answer his question, as nobody before did this...

My thought to this is:

If I sent a mail it is (usually) moved to the sentbox
and, as I know what I had written, I (usually) don't look into the sentbox
so I would see wether the mdn has arrived or not ;-(
The display of the mail is ok and should (at least as an option) be left in
balsa...
a dialog "sb. has read your msg" would be the worst solution 'cause that's
the windows-way, asking and informing about everything in an extra
dialog-box
