Congratulations on a great mail tool! I just upgraded to 1.1.4, and it
looks very good. However...I want to use Balsa solely to manage mail on
a remote IMAP (Cyrus) host, and I don't understand how to set this up.
I checked ``subscribed folders only'', and INBOX shows both as a mailbox
(icon = tray), and as a folder (icon = folder) containing the next level
of names. However, these next level items are shown only as mailboxes,
even though most of them also contain further subfolders. Console
reports begin as follows:
[Peter@myhost]$ Opening 3 mailboxes on startup.
Loading its configuration...
Server loaded, host: Peter.mail.xxx.yyy, port 143
imap_dir: reading for
Deph: 0 -------------------------------------------
imap_add_folder. delim: '.', folder: 'INBOX', noselect: 1
noinferiors: 0, isparent: 0
ADDING FOLDER INBOX
imap_add_folder. delim: '.', folder: 'INBOX', noselect: 0
noinferiors: 0, isparent: 0
ADDING MAILBOX INBOX
Deph: 1 -------------------------------------------
imap_add_folder. delim: '.', folder: '', noselect: 1
noinferiors: 0, isparent: 1
imap_add_folder. delim: '.', folder: 'INBOX.Courses', noselect: 0
noinferiors: 0, isparent: 0
ADDING MAILBOX INBOX.Courses
Is there some setting I'm missing that will let me see the whole tree?
The relevant part of .gnome/balsa is
[folder-0]
Server=Peter.mail.xxx.yyy
Port=143
Name=IMAP
Directory=
Subscribed=true
Threading=1
SortType=1
SortField=0
Thanks for any help!
