balsa crashing

I have no idea what i did, but balsa will not run under 1 account(works
fine under others). I try starting from the command line and I get the
error messg. 

Balsa cannot open you "Inbox" mailbox
Could not load basic mailboxes
invalid cast from null ptr to gtkwindow
file gnome-dialog.c line 384 (gnome_dialog_set_parent: assertion `parent
!= null failed
etc...

solutions???
