Hello all,
I finally found the problem causing dropped SMTP connections.
Naturally this depended on the server's buffering and latencies
and did not happen with the servers I use or the data I sent
to them :-(
Please download and install libESMTP 0.8.3 from
http://www.stafford.uklinux.net/libesmtp/download.html
and verify this fix works for you.
