This is exactly what I do to compile on Solaris 5.5.1 & 7. Seems
to be due to Sun's X11 headers not having a type on some of their
externs. They default to int, and gcc prints a warning, unless
"-Werror" is provided (by "--enable-more-warnings"), then it
is an error, and make stops.
