Not necessarily.  The usernames for a sealed server are in a different namespace
from Unix usernames.  It's not uncommon for POP servers to authenticate with a
user name set to the full mailbox address.  Some servers use just the left side of
the mailbox address, some use all of it.  Still it's worth checking to be sure
which form is correct for the server in question.
