Expand aliases as you type seems to be broken in 0.9.5

Hi there.
The great feature "Expand aliases as you type" doesn't seem to work for me in
0.9.5! I just have one addressbook and I've checked the box "Expand aliases as
you type". But when I open the compose window the aliases just arent expanded!
