If you look at your inbox with less, you probably have a message that
has a subject like "DON'T DELETE THIS MESSAGE PINE IMAP DATA". It's a
special message that pine uses for IMAP data, that shouldn't be edited
or deleted. Balsa will recognize this, but your mailcheck applet
might not, or the message counting code in the folder info might not,
if this is where you see the 1 message indicator.
