Hi everybody,
I'd like to help with the development of balsa but I'm unsure of where to
begin. I've been thinking about helping out before, but the prompt on
gnome-announce that the development of balsa was in need of help has spurred
me to this message. I have some limited coding skill, and can write
documentation, but don't know what is really needed where. I saw the TODO
file and I've got some ideas of my own for stuff to do, but I'd like to get
the word from "the man". This is also my first attempt at a collaborative
development of software, so general guidance would be appreciated. So far
I've been busy reading the source and attempting to understand how it all goes
together, I assume this is a good idea :).
Mostly I'm looking for a general guideline on procedure; i.e. if I have an
idea for a new feature, do I bring it up on the list first, or code it and
send in the patch with no discussion?
Thanks,
MBG

that in fact, really amazingly immense, a totally stunning size, real "wow,
that's big," time. Infinity is just so big that, by comparison, bigness
itself looks really titchy. Gigantic multiplied by colossal multiplied by
staggeringly huge is the sort of concept we're trying to get across here."
