Looks like what has happened is an effect of  the transition to GNOME.ORG dns services.  It was updated an effective on what appears to be 8/19/2020.

 

We’ll need to get the GNOME sysadmins or direct contact to make those updates.

 

I’m going to clear the DNS zones from our systems to make sure there is no conflict.

The build process is normal. Rania also tried to build on another platform with another domain name and it worked.

The conclusion so far :

1. the domain name was used by another site

2. the github itself is troubled.

Rania also reported this to github. They said that we had a problem with domain squatter, and they can help us solve this problem, but need us to verify that we own the domain. I attached the screenshot of github's reply. Please kindly help us. Thank you.

So the actual domain ownership has been moved around a few times. I don’t control the domain,  I’ve only had DNS pointed at our server clusters.  The foundation has ben domain ownership it would appear.  I can create or update any DNS records necessary.    As a side note the admin panel for dns has always been available as needed.   

 

Pages moving to git etc,  can happen while the DNS piece is sorted.

 

I’m tracking email now so let me know how to facilitate.
