And we should ask for more details of the training session she proposing.
I agree that we should ask for more details, but should we try to find
another venue for the day before? It's not uncommon for these kinds of
sessions to be held somewhere else from the main venue as they tend to be
smaller. We could even get a classroom at a university, for example.

How about making training session during the summit day?
We have 3 rooms.
Unfortunately, I checked that our venue is reserved by another event at
5/23
So. we only can use the venue during the summit.

For training session, we don't need to submit from website. We can

I think this session is a great idea! Emily's right that we can
promote
it
as a special training session. Last year, we had the design session
and
it
was really a big success.
Most important of all, we should:
1. Announce in website that we will have a training session 1 day
before
the summit
2. List training courses online as well as speakers bio, photos and
outline
for each topic
3. Promote in universities to encourage students to join the session.
We
can also print certificate for each student after finish the
training.
Karen and Tobi can sign on the certification.
I think promotion in universities is really key for something like
this.
I'd be happy to sign the certificates :)

4. When do registration, participant can choose to join the training
session or not. Or we can have a separate training registration. The
website team will have their preference.
