Re: Theme of the GNOME.Asia 2013

Not to be a detractor, but what topics will be spoke upon?  What can we demo to users and developers that they can use on a daily basis? The conference theme should help to introduce and excite people about the technologies we have and are passionate about.

Dear Emily,

I also think "GNOME On Embedded" is good theme in Korea :)

To other members,
How about this theme?

Simon,

I like the idea of : GNOME On Embedded

The theme really based on the local speakers topic and local interests. So your opinion matters.

Almost every GNOME.Asia summit has a theme, we should do the same for 2013. We can use the theme when call for paper and call for sponsors.

Below are some draft ideas, hope to inspire more ideas:
- GNOME on mobile device
(Thinking about that in Korea, GNOME technology used in smartphone and smart TV etc)
- GNOME Gangnam style
- GNOME 3.8
- GNOME, Freedom for everyone
- GNOME, safer than ever
- ...

Hope you will have more better ideas.
