That sounds like an interesting choice
as well, at the very least for a presentation

I really respect him. And AFAIK most Korean F/OSS
users/engineers too. :-)

It looks very good project. but I could not find any
relationship with gnome/gtk+.
How about HwanJin Choi ?
His great projects relate on Hangul (Korean
Character) are widely used in so many Linux
desktop projects including Gnome, KDE ...
- Nabi (XIM based Hangul Input method daemon)
- imhangul (GTK+ immodule for Hangul)
- libhangul (library for Hangul composite
automata, converter between Hangul and Mandarin)
Especially, The libhangul became a de facto
standard library for Hangul Input. So Many linux
distributions contains it as default library.
(even mobile area... MeeGo, Tizen ...). Because it
used by almost all of Input Method Framework such
as Imbus, SCIM...
By these reason, He has contributed many codes
for those famous framework projects... And He has
been actively involved in Asianux alliance several
years ago.
I believe that many Asian F/OSS engineers know
him very well.
Best Regards,
JC

Maintainer of that project is korean
named Lee Hee Seung(I don't know exact
spelling)
How about him for keynote speaker?
As I know, His project is very
successful open source.

I asked to him for
speaker.
But, He refused my suggestion.
He said I'm not much involved
with GNOME and not appropriate
man.

I think the keynote speaker
should be someone who is more
involved in
GNOME or open source projects.
Though Soonson has done good
job on the KLDP site, he's far
from an
open source contributor or
developer. And I think the
current KLDP is
not a good forum to discuss on
open source topics.
