Re: Question about Empty slot

I agree with Seoz
"his presentation is targetted to GNOME developers and talk about how we can improve cross desktop standard."

If this talk could focus on GNOME, why not?

Please give us suggestion, and we could update the schedule

Best regards

Max

Hello, I understand why Sammny Fung has a little concern about that.

I thought we can also have general opensource technologies for the presentation.
Maybe his topic does not fulfill the primary goal for summit this year, his presentation is targetted to GNOME developers and talk about how we can improve cross desktop standard.
Enlightenment will be used as a use case. Even though the presentation is not for promoting Enlightenment, we need to focus on GNOME anyway.

So.. any ideas?

Thanks.

Juyung,

As I know, his subject seems not much related to GNOME.
Could you ask him to change his subject to GNOME?

Hold on, I may change my mind.

I just found and read his CFP submission again, personally I have a little concern that he may talk a lot on Enlightenment desktop enviornment.

Should we accept his presentation as backup ?

Personally I think we are promoting GNOME in Korea as our primary goal again for summit this year, but his submission doesn't, I perfer he provide more details or change his content/description of presentation/submission.

I also agree if his subject is not far from gnome/open source.

Hello, this is Daniel Juyung Seo (SeoZ on IRC) from a local team.

I suggest "Cedric BAIL" as a candidate. Actually he is already listed as a backup speaker but I hope he will have a chance to have a presentation.
His presentation topic is "Improving cross desktop standard". If any of you wants to get more detail about the topic I will ask Cedric to send a short abstraction.
He has more than 15 years opensource experience. And he had a good level of presentation experience on LInuxCon and Linux Foudation Collaborate Summit, and so on.
And the best thing is "HE LIVES IN KOREA." and he will participate GNOME Asia Summit anyway.

I think he is a good candidate :)
Thanks.

Hi,

Our schedule has one empty slot.
Some times earlier, we gathered potential candidates.
Should we choose one among that list for empty slot?
Or should we find new session speaker?

Thank you.
